OUTFIT POST : Topshop Check Skirt

Skirt: Topshop // Jumper : The Ragged Priest // Jacket : Topshop // Necklace :Topshop //
Bag Primark // Shoes: Topshop

We went for a meal last night at The Lost and Found in Birmingham, we were a tad early so we went for a stroll and took these photos. I'm really happy with them. If you follow me on instagram you will know I got the Nikon 1 and these were taken using that. I think the quality is really good and resembles the quality of a DSLR.

I will be blogging about our meal later so keep an eye out for that. Also we had a little spa day at The Marriott in Birmingham which was lovely. I'm not sure if I'm going to be blogging about my visit as I didn't take any photos but it was a really good day.

I loveee this skirt from Topshop, I thought i'd lost it so I haven't worn it for a while. I keep wearing my fluffy Ragged Priest jumper as well and I need to stop wearing jumpers now the weathers heating up abit.

I've been making some art work and if you follow me on instagram you will have seen it, would you guys like to see a update on the blog featuring my art work?

Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone hope you all had a lovely long weekend off, I was working on Friday and Saturday but had Easter Sunday off. I literally stayed in my pj's all day and did nothing, it was lovely. On the night we decided to have a bit of family time with a board game, film, popcorn and a few drinks.

We had a quick game of Trivial Pursuit, me and Clint were cheating by using the cards for kids ;) so we were actually doing quite well and Clint won. I have heard loads and loads about Frozen and was really excited to watch it so I popped the popcorn in the microwave and sat down with Clint and my parents to watch it. It was actually really really good and I thought it was so funny. We had a few drinks whilst we watched the film so it was a really cozy night in.

I was kindly sent the board game, popcorn and dvd so I could enjoy a night in courtesy of Intellicig. Intellicig is an E Cigarette company. The idea behind this campaign is to show people that they can have fun indoors without having to leave the room to smoke. My parents used to smoke and both would go outside to smoke, so the house doesn’t smell. I’ve never smoked and I think it smells disgusting so my parents would always go outside so our house would smell. Now they both use E-Cigarettes they no longer have to go outside as there’s no smoke or smell. Also during April we would usually be expecting some April Showers and no one wants to go outside and get soaked but with an Intellicig you can stay inside and stay dry whilst you smoke.

REVIEW: SOAP AND GLORY MAKE YOURSELF YOUTHFUL

I've been using this Soap and Glory Serum on and off for a few months now. I am a big fan of Soap and Glory. First of all i'm a massive fan of their packaging, its so fun and cute and one of the big reasons why I buy their products. I also think they have some really good quality products that really work.

This product is a youth serum that claims to reduce lines and energise the skin.

I love the feel of this product on my skin, its cool and a light formula that sinks into the skin easily. You instantly feel the product work into the skin making it feel cool and energized!

I like to use this as a primer before I apply my make up as I feel it does fill in the lines and create an even base to work onto.

You only need a little bit of product as a little goes a long way. It's a really light formula and it isn't sticky or oily.

I'm a really bit fan of Make Yourself Youthful, I do think £16 is a fair price compared to other serums that are out there.

FOOD REVIEW: Pizza Express Express Lunch

I was kindly given the opportunity to sample the brand new Lunch menu from Pizza Express. Avalible to eat in or take away theres a very impressive selection to choose from. Theres a range of soups, pizza's and salads avaliable. Theres a range of smaller sides which start at £1.95.

I ordered the Pollo ad Astra pizza and Clint ordered the American Hot pizza, we also ordered some Polenta Chips and some Dough Balls 'Pizza Express'.

The pizza was a very decent size for £5.95. I actually Mmmm'd outloud after my first bite. It was really good! I liked the cheese very much and i'm not normally one for tomato base on my pizza ( I normally have BBQ) but I really enjoyed the tomato base. The Pollo ad Astra pizza came with Chicken, sweet Pepperdew peppers, red onion, mozzarella, tomato, cajun spices and garlic oil. The cajun spices really made the pizza for me, it tasted so good! The pizza wasn't too spicy which I was very happy about. I ate every single piece of this pizza and I would order this again and again, it was really nice.

We also ordered Polenta chips and Dough Balls as a side, the portions are smaller in comparison to their main menu but the portions were a decent size and I really enjoyed them. I love Pizza Express Dough Balls Mmm.

We finished with a slice of Chocoloate Fudge Cake which is made in store at Pizza Express it was nice and moist and came with the most amazing ice cream.

I'd really recommend this menu as theres just so much choice and it's a great value for money. The portions are very good and i'd much rather spend a fiver on a pizza for my lunch. I really enjoyed my visit, this was my first visit to the Solihull Pizza Express and I'll be returning to try out more things from there lunch menu.  I love the sound of Padana so I'll be trying that next!

Check out the menu here !

NEON SUMMER

Skirt : Primark // Bag : Primark // Top : New Look // Necklace H&M // Sunglasses: Primark

Wow it's so hot today, i've just been sitting in my garden doing abit of blogging, it's such a lovely day. I feel so sorry for those of you that are at work and can't enjoy the weather. I'm supposed to be at university but it's easter and it's sunny so i'm slacking abit.

My Gym Essentials

I recently joined the gym again as I want to lose a bit of weight and get toned for my holiday. Here's a post about my essentials for the gym.

Trainers - I got these really cute Nike trainers, they have a mesh material on the side which is great at stopping my feet getting hot. These are training shoes so they are good for the gym.

Gym Clothes -  I'm not really bothered about what I wear to the gym. I have my Puma bottoms, there like leggings so they are really comfy and are easy to run in. I also bring my swimming costume to the gym as I like to go for a swim after exercising.

Flannel - I bring my flannel along incase I get abit sweaty, I use it to dab my face and wipe my hands on.

Towel - Like I said above I like to go for a swim after my work out so I bring my towel along with me.

Water Bottle - I bought this really cute water bottle to bring to the gym. I normally buy bottled water to take with me but decided it would be cheaper to refil the bottle myself. This bottle is from Primark.

Energy Drinks - Sometimes I like to bring an energy drink along instead of water like these ones from Multipower.com because they are full of things like caffine to sustain your endurance. There's loads to choose from and they can allow you to work out for longer and harder.

Iphone and earphones - Theres always music on at the gym but I like to listen to my own music, I also like to check my twitter and facebook whilst i'm on the treadmill or the bike.
