REVIEW: LUSH Marilyn Hair Treatment

Marilyn - £8.95 - LUSH

Marilyn is a pre- wash hair treatment for blondes. It maintains blonde hair and makes its brighter and lighter and prevents those orange / brassy tones from building up. It contains camomile and lemon which makes the hair look brighter.

I've been using Marilyn for a while. You can either use the whole tub in one go or use it regulary to stop those brassy tones appearing. I use this about once a fortnight to just keep those tones at bay.

I love products that are especially for blondes like Marilyn, it makes me feel special because I'm blonde! and you know that what your using is designed to work for your hair colour.

Marilyn is a creme- like texture and you apply it to dry hair for about 20 minutes. I would recommend if your using your whole tub on a more intensive treatment to leave on for as long as possible for maximum effect.

Then rinse and wash and style your hair as normal .

I noticed straight away that my hair was looking less brassy and alot more blonde. I think this is a really great natural way of getting those natural blonde tones to be more visible rather than bleaching.

I now use this to prevent the orange or brassy tones appearing. I think £8.95 is rather expensive but this tub will last me like 2 months so really its good.

And also you know that because its from LUSH all the ingredients are good and not going to damage of ruin your gorgeous blonde hair :)

REVIEW : The Popband

Popband - RRP £5- £6 *

I was kindly sent these Popband bottles to review. I've always wanted to try something like this because I hate having kinks in my hair! I work as a waitress and have to wear my hair up. I usually work on a saturday so if I decide to take my hair down on a saturday night I have a hugeee kink in my hair :(

I love that you can choose from so many different colours and designs and they even have a bit of bling on some of the elastics !! They are designed to stop your hair from kinking or denting your hair and they don't rip out clumps of hair either.

So I took the Popband to the test and wore it to work on a busy Saturday day shift! I put my hair up at about 11:30 and took it out at about 5:30 so that was a decent 6 hours in my hair.

You can also wear them on your wrists like I have above- You can wear them alone or pop a couple on  like I did. I think the grey and light blue looks lovely together! These would be handy for festivals because you can keep it on your wrist and it looks like a bracelet and then you've got a bobble when you need it!!

The results:

I did have a slight kink in my hair - however I had washed my hair that morning so it could have been a bit damp still but the kink was alot less visible than using a normal bobble.

Also it stayed in my hair all day and didn't move or come loose at all so no fidgeting with my hair all day !

Although it left a slight kink I really do think that this was down to damp hair. I do really like these elastics however I do think they are very expensive for what they are! But a multipack of plain ones is £6 for 5 so that works out £1.20 each which isn't bad because they work ! and it won't snap like a normal bobble so unless you lose it you should be able to use it for years and years!

Popband offer free delivery on all UK orders!

REVIEW: NUDE miracle mask

NUDE skincare: Miracle mask - £38*

Miracle mask is an exfoliating mask by NUDE. The mask contains AHA's with rice beads to reveal an instantly flawless, radiant complexion. The beads are really little and gentle but this mask is amazing.

- You apply the mask using your fingers, make sure you apply to any problem areas, leave for about 5 minutes and then rinse. This then removes any dead skin and reduces the appearance of pores.

I have quite large pores and I actually noticed a difference after using this product just once, I've used it a few times and I must say that I can see visible results. I am going to start using this once a week to unclog my pores and i'm hoping that this should make my pores reduce significantly.

You don't really need to use a lot of product and by using this product once a week I think it's a real value for money. I think £38 is ALOT of money but this is a 'Miracle' product. It actually works on my skin and visibly reduces my pores. If this product continues to work on my skin I will defiantly be repurchasing.

So far i'm very impressed with NUDE and will be reviewing a few more NUDE skincare products soon so look out for those.

REVIEW: Loreal Skin Perfection 3 in 1 micellar water

Loreal Paris Micellar Water - £4.99 Superdrug

I picked up the Loreal Micellar water because it was on offer at Superdrug for £2.50. It's currently on 2 bottles for £5 at tesco which is an equally good offer.

I haven't tried Bioderma so I can't compare but I must say I really enjoy using this micellar water.
Its a 200ml bottle for £5 whereas Bioderma is 250ml for £9.99

This is a really nice gentle micellar water that doesn't irritate my eyes or skin and removes all my make up including stubborn mascara's !!

Its a 3 in 1 micellar water so it removes make up, unclogs pores and removes impurities and tones leaving skin feeling soft.

It's really sensitive so can be used on eyes, lips and face.

I would really love Loreal to make bigger bottles of this product as I do feel like I use quite a bit of product and therefore it would be cost effective to sell bigger bottles.

I like to use this to remove my make up before I do a deeper cleanse or in the morning before I apply my make up as a toner.

Have you used any of the new Loreal range? I like the look of the new face oil !

What I'm Wearing : Neon Lights

Jumper - Ark
 Skirt - River Island
 Watch: River Island
Necklace: New Look
Nails: Barry M Gelly - Grapefruit

Today I wore this gorgeous jumper from the hearts and bows range at Ark. It's a neon pink cropped jumper, It's so cute and an absolute bargain at £15.99. I'm loving neon at the moment!
I teamed this with my favourite river island skirt and my black leather jacket. I think the jumper is a lovely colour and I'm loving the subtle stripes. The jumper is quite a loose fit but its quite small because of the cropped design, mines a medium to large.

I wore this outfit to pop into uni and complete my last module for my 2nd year and then I went into Birmingham to see the lovely Gemma Button !

Had to take my outfit photos indoors today because of the rain !!
