[GIFTED] REVIEW: NAKIN FACE CREAM AND EYE CREAM COMPLEX

I've been using these products for a little while now and thought i'd share my thoughts on the products and how i'm getting on with them.

Nakin are an eco beauty brand, they cater for all ages and their award winning range is a luxurious natural skincare system of cleansers, moisturisers and treatments. They produce stunning high performance natural anti-aging skincare. The range is formulated with powerful natural anti-agers such as Hibiscus, Pomegranate, Seaweed and Hyaluronic Acid, as well as healing butters and rejuvenating areoils.

First up let's talk about the packaing! I'm loving the simple, clean packaging. The pots are glass which is lovely and makes the packaging feel nicer.

The Active Dew Face Cream comes in a very decent sized pot. It's great for sensitive or dry skin. My skin is dry and damaged from day to day life. I also have mildly sensitive skin. I sometimes have issues with natural skincare so I wasn't sure how I would get on with the range but i've had absolutely no problems at all. The cream is very light and sinks into the skin beautifully and quickly. It leaves the skin feeling super soft and plump. I have noticed that my skin seems to feel healthier and more hydrated since using this cream. It retails at £20 which I think is really reasonable as its a good size pot, it's a lightweight formula so you don't need to use alot of product and you are getting a product that is... 98% natural and formulated without parabens, SLES, retinol, propylene glycol and artificial colour and fragrance,Vegan & cruelty-free face cream, Leaping Bunny registered, Gluten free and Wheat free.

The Eye Cream Complex is similar in consistency but maybe a little lighter. It again goes on beautifully and sinks into the skin really well. The Natural Anti-Aging Eye Cream Complex is a  natural anti-ageing eye cream that uses the wonder of natural science, with the array of potent plant oils and extracts, to immerse skin with replenishment, nutrients and hydration. It works wonders to help reduce dark circles, lines and puffy eyes.  I've noticed that my dark circles are much less visible and my eyes feel plumper. I don't really have fine lines yet but the skin around my eyes are lovely and smooth and look so much better. I was always super paranoid about my dark circles and would put loads of concealer on but recently I've found myself applying less as i'm less conscious about them now. Again the Eye cream comes in a cute little glass pot which is lovely. It's smaller than the moisturiser which is usually the case but you literally only need a super tiny amount so this pot will last ages. Again at £18 I think this is a really reasonable price for the quality of this product.

I might have a browse of the website and try a few more products. I like the sound of their cleansing milk, so want to give that a try. They also have a selection of gift sets which are a great value for money. The face serum is another product that I like the sound of!

REVIEW : ORIGINS GinZing Energy-boosting moistuizer

Origins GinZing Energy-boosting moisturizer - rrp £23.00 - Boots

So I got myself a very good bargain ! I picked this up in the boots clearance section for £10 !! saving a whopping £13. I have no idea why it was reduced but I had to have it!

I've tried a sample of the GinZing moisturizer before and I really do like the light-weight texture. I don't really like heavy moisurisers because I have oily skin and I find some moisturizers tend to make my skin appear greasy.

The GinZing is a nice formula, its light and smells amazing ! Its got a very orangy/ citrus scent so your skin feels awake and amazing.

I do feel that this moisturiser tends to make my t-zone a little more oily than usual :( but it definatly moisturises the skin and I would recommend it to those with very dry skin as it will work wonders. I will still continue to use it as I really like how it creates a warm glowy appearance on my skin.

REVIEW: Elemental Herbology Moisture Replenish Kit

Elemental Herbology - Moisture Replenish kit - £22.00* - Buy here.

This kit is great if you want to try some elemental herbology products without spending £40 for a full size product. The Moisture replenish kit is great for dry skin or mature skin. I brought some of the kit on holiday with me to ensure I was getting moisture back into my skin after being in the sun all day.

The kit contains 1 x 25ml cleansing balm , 1x 15ml facial hydrator spf 8 , 1x 15ml overnight repair cream and 1x 15ml Radiance peel.

I love cleansing balms and have heard loads of amazing things about the elemental herbology balm. Its a nice formula and you can feel the little beads cleaning your skin and getting into all the areas. I like to use the muslin cloth to remove the balm. It leaves the skin feeling really soft and clean and I feel like the balm really gets into my pores.

The cell plumping facials hydrator is a day time moisturiser. It has spf 8 so I brought this on holiday. Its a nice rich cream. You can tell its an expensive product, it retails at £44 for a 50ml tub. The product is thick but dries quickly into the skin and you feel the moisture.

From the Elemental Herbology website :

'Patents
Liftonin® helps to firm the skin and improve tone.
Aquarich® delivers a 24-hour moisturising complex to intensively hydrate.
Actives
Pearl Extract and Royal Jelly helps improve skin hydration.
Co-Enzyme Q10 helps to protect against oxidative damage.
Bio-Oils
Rosa Mosqueta, Argan, Sacha Inchi and Evening Primrose Oils deliver a complex of Essential Fatty Acids rich in Omega 3, 6 and 9 to help repair and hydrate the skin.'

The Facial Glow Radiance Peel is a lovely fruity scent gentle exfoliator. it's a really nice product, it does contain AHA's so its best not to use it when its sunny or make sure you wear a decent spf as it can make you skin sensitive to the sun. I really like the product and love using exfoliators to scrub away any dirt and dead skin. This is a non abrasive exfoliator so it's great for people who don't want to use a harsh exfoliator.
I love the facial souffle intensive hydration and repair overnight creme its such a nice night cream. It replaces the hydration thats lost from the skin and plumps and firms the skin reducing the appearance of fine lines. It's such a hydrating cream and makes your skin so soft and full of moisture. I used this loads on holiday and I burnt my nose so this stopped it from peeling.

REVIEW | Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser

Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser - £19.25*

I love my Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, it's my go to cleanser! I always use it in between more intense cleansers so when I was sent this moisturiser to review I was very excited!

The moisturiser is really light and rubs in really well and quickly into the skin. The moisturiser is full of naturally active ingredients like wheatgerm oil which contains high levels of vitamin E which is a powerful anti-oxident and Glycerin which attracts water so hydrates the skin.

The moisturiser is suitable for normal/combination skin so it perfect for my skin. I have oily/combination skin and because this moisturiser is so light and hydrating it moisturises my skin without adding any extra oilyness or grease.

I love the tube it's so easy and more hygienic than the tub thats also available in 50ml for the same price so it's great if you prefer to use a tub rather than a tube like me. I think the tube is really great for me because I stay at my boyfriends so its easy to pack into my make up bag and also I will be bringing this on holiday because its so lightweight.

I really love this moisturiser and i'm always very impressed with Liz Earle Products I think they are amazing quality and they last for ages. I think £19.25 is rather expensive but its a great quality product and I would repurchase this and recommend it!

Throughout June Liz Earle are offering free delivery so check out their website here www.lizearle.com

REVIEW: trilogy rosehip oil antioxidant+

 trilogy rosehip oil antioxidant+ - £26.50

I won this little beauty in a twitter giveaway hosted by the lovely people at www.pegasuspr.co.uk

Its a face oil thats designed to hydrate and brighten the skin. To improve fine lines and wrinkles and elasticity and firmness.

I've noticed my skin does appear brighter since introducing this into my skincare routine. I like to use this in the evening after cleansing. I have oily/combination skin so I like to cleanse in the morning using a light cream cleanser and the follow with a light moisturiser. I prefer to use oils at night so I use this to moisturise after cleansing. The product does dry into the skin and leaves the skin feeling smooth and soft. I do feel abit greasy so this is another reason I wouldn't use the product in the day but for me it's a great product to use before bed. My skin does feel more hydrated when I use this in my routine and I've noticed my skin appear more brighter.

I don't really have many fine lines or wrinkles because I am only 20 but I like the idea of preventing any fine lines or wrinkles from appearing so this again is a good aspect of this product. I think my face has been looking firmer recently which I love!

Overall I do like this product, because its an oil and you get the squeeze applicator you don't use alot of product however I still think that £26.50 is rather expensive but you are paying for a product that is 100% natural and organic and it contains certified rosehip oil to repair skin.

KMS California Add Volume Spray

KMS California Add Volume Volumizing Spray *

I got this in my first Birchbox, I had never heard of KMS until recently so was really excited to try it out. My hair is very temperamental with products like this and can just go greasy but it doesn't with this.

Its a spray get thats designed to thicken for intense fullness and its a heat protector.

You apply it to towel dried hair and then blow dry! i've actually found this makes my hair dry quicker which I think is fab  :) And I can see my hair does feel thicker. I have been using this and Philip Kingsley Elasticizer and have noticed my hair is feeling at lot thicker. I've also started using other products like argan oils and have noticed my hairs looking more healthier.

I used to literally shampoo and condition my hair but now I use so many products because they actually work.
This is a great product and I've used it loads and still have about half a bottle left. i also got another really similar product in this months Birchbox so will try that one out too :)
