CHRISTMAS GIFT IDEAS WITH THOMAS SABO AT JOSHUA JAMES

I love Christmas, it's my favourite holiday. I get really into shopping, I like to buy festive pj's and bedding and I love making hot chocolates with marshmallows and whipped cream, this year I want to build a Gingerbread house and maybe bake some mince pies.
One of my favourite things about Christmas is buying really amazing gits for people, I like seeing peoples faces when they open gifts I've bought them.
I think a piece of jewellery is a really special gift and something like this charm bracelet from Thomas Sabo would be so perfect for a very special person in your life. This Charm carrier *is perfect, it comes with a charm so you could give this to someone and its a great gift. You could maybe buy another charm aswell something a bit more personal. Or you could let someone else know that you've bought a charm bracelet and they could buy the person a charm.
Thomas Sabo have a huge selection of charms and they have some really fun ones aswell as more personal ones, they have ones with writing on and some seasonal ones. There's something for everyone.  I picked out this feather Thomas Sabo charm* from the Joshua James website, it will go perfect on my Thomas Sabo Bracelet, I know my sister would love it aswell. If you don't think the person your shopping for would like a bracelet then Thomas Sabo have a huge range of other jewellery including necklaces, earrings and rings.
I love these Silver Pyramid Ear studs, * they are so gorgeous, they are a really nice classy stud which you can wear every single day. I think the White Zirconia stones are lovely and make the studs sparkle. The Joshua James website has a huge selection of Thomas Sabo Earrings so your sure to find something for that special someone. Thomas Sabo is such a recognised brand that anyone would be happy with a Thomas Sabo gift this season.

CLOTHES SHOW LIVE 2015 FASHION THEATRE

I have been to The Clothes Show Live in Birmingham for the last few years, I knew this year was going to be amazing and I was really looking forward to attending. I couldn't go until Monday which meant I kept seeing all of the amazing brands and updates over the weekend which just made me want to go even more. I had a browse around the exhibition hall first, they had some really amazing brands there this year including, Spectrum Brushes, Nanshy, NYX, Peaches and Cream, Lee Stafford and many more. I did spend quite abit of money this year but I got some really amazing bits and pieces and to be honest I could have spent more but I had to hold myself back.

The fashion theatre show is always really impressive. It's like a dance performance rather than a catwalk, it's seriously amazing, you can watch my Clothes Show Vlog here to see more

The models always look amazing, the make up and hair is gorgeous and on trend, you can visit the Clothes Show website to see all of the outfits from the Catwalk and here you can find the high street trends that were featured of the catwalk aswell.

I think this year was one of the best years i've had a The Clothes Show Live, the fashion theater was amazing and the brands that exhibited this year were so so good! You can check out my review from Last year here Clothes Show Live 2014  The clothes show is a great place to pick up some Christmas Gifts or just get some things for your self. It's a great day out for you and your friends or bring your mom along and you can pick out some of your Christmas Presents.
I really think that the last two years have been so good and I would really reccommend a visit to The Clothes Show Live.

THE CHRISTMAS CRAFT CHALLENGE

This festive season I am taking part in The Christmas Craft Challange in Collaboration with Viking.
Here's a few fun crafty decorations that I made. These would be some really fun ideas for the festive season when the kids are on holiday and are bored. They also double up as keepsakes and little decorations for your tree.

I found some really easy step by step youtube videos and blog posts online and found some really good simple decoration ideas.
I made this Christmas tree and round bauble using paper, you can use coloured paper or plain white printer paper, they both look great! You just cut out the shape you like so for the Christmas tree you could cut out a tree shape, I did between 10-12 and then pile them together and fold in half and the staple them all together and fan them out and you get this really great 3D christmas tree. I did the same with the round bauble but I used two different coloured papers. You can then use a sharpie to add some patterns onto your decorations, if your using just white printer paper this will make your decorations really stand out, you can draw some baubles onto your christmas trees or write a name on your bauble.

I also made traditional 2D snowflakes using white paper, I think these look so good stuck onto a window thoughout december. I found some really great patterns online which you can follow to get some really impressive snowflakes or you can just have some fun with it and randomly cut your own snowflakes.

You can get some more inspiration over on the Viking website, click here to find out more about the #ChristmasCraftChallenge

I'd love to see your christmas creations!

REVIEW: LETS SKATE SOLIHULL

A few weeks ago I was invited to the launch night of Lets Skate Solihull which has just opened in Mell Square. Solihull have their own little Christmas Market and have a indoor bar selling Christmassy drinks. It's a great night out with friends, you can go for an ice skate and then warm up with a hot chocolate and a hot dog. Its such a great night out! For me Birminghams Christmas Market is just too busy and because we live in solihull we could easily walk in or jump in a taxi meaning we can all have a drink and enjoy ourselves whereas we would have to pay loads for a taxi home or one of us would have to drive into Birmingham.

We had a great night at Lets Skate Solihull, for the launch night they had some great dancers on the ice. Clint and myself had a lovely skate around the ice, I think we could have done with one of the penguin support things but we managed and Clint only fell over once.

Its such a great night out for the family or with your friends and its affordable with prices starting at £8 for kids and £11 for adults, there are some variations with prices during peak and off peak times but you can check out prices here on the website, they also offer £1 off for bid card holders and theres student discounts aswell.

REVIEW; SOFA SOFA SCATTER CUSHIONS

LARGE CIRCLE SCATTER CUSHIONS - £15 EACH*

Since we have just moved house we have been on the lookout for all kinds of bits and pieces for the living room and kitchen. Since this is our first place together we literally had to get everything. Luckily the place we ended up getting was part furnished so we didn't have to buy a sofa or kitchen appliances.
I was sent these scatter cushions from sofasofa.co.uk when I was still living with my parents, they look fab in our living room and match the room really well.  They are really firm and of a great quality. The materials used to make the cushion are lovely and are of such high quality. These cushions feel so durable and I know they would last such a long time.
My parents have a brown and teal theme going on in the living room and I couldn't believe how perfect these cushions look. The colour is perfect and matches the teal wallpaper and accessories that we have already.
Sofa Sofa have a huge range of patterns and colours in their scatter cushion collection, They have some plain options if you prefer to go for a mixture of pattern and plain cushions and they have plenty of colours and textures to choose from.

If you are looking for a new sofa, a sofa bed or just some scatter cushions to give your old sofa a lease of new life check out SofaSofa.co.uk for a huge range of sofas and accessories. You can also use the Sofa Finder, to make looking for that new sofa abit easier, you can select your price range, what kind of colour and size you would like and it will show you a selection rather than having to browse the whole site.

CHRISTMAS GIFT IDEAS - BEAUTY

Another Christmas Gift Guide!!! This ones more beauty related, as a beauty blogger and lover I find I like to gift beauty products to my family and friends. I love reccommending products or brands and sharing tips and tricks.

I've put together a good selection of products and tried to include a nice range of brands. I feel all of these products are reasonably priced, as I don't tend to spend loads on people at Christmas.

Gift sets are a really great way to give someone a selection of products at Christmas, Soap and Glory are one of my all time favourite brands. I love gifting Soap and Glory, it's such a well know brand and they have something for everyone. This is their Time To Pink gift set which retails at £16.00 and inside you get a Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss, the Love At First Blush Shimmer Powder, a nail polish and roller ball perfume all inside this gorgeous glittery pouch.  I'm loving the Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oils right now, I think they are great for so many people and would make a great stocking filler, they are £18 each but Clarins is such a lovely brand which is well recognized and these are perfect for the cold winter season. Next i've included the Sensio Spa Deep Pore Cleanser, this is very similar to the Foreo Luna but a much more affordable option, you can pick it up on Amazon or Argos, right now its on offer for £25 at Argos which is Half Price.

I've included the Two Faced Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette which is such a great product, it retails for around £39 but the shades are perfect and the pigments are gorgeous. I reach for this all the time! You can get Two Faced in Debenhams

Lush! I love that Lush have such an amazing Christmas Selection, this year i'm loving the gift sets. I picked out the Comfort and Joy gift set as we've just moved into our own place and have found ourselves using the shower more that the bath and this contains two Shower Gels, a Body Conditioner and also the Reindeer Rock Soap

As usual Liz Earle have released an impressive range of amazing Christmas Gift sets including the Liz Earle Supercharged Skin Gift, inside this lovely bauble box is a mini Superskin moisturiser. I really want to try the new Limited Edition Cleanse and Polish, the new scent is Orange and Mint! It sounds so amazing, It's going straight on my wish list for Christmas

This No7 star bauble contains a nail polish. I think this is a really lovely gift idea. The shade is a lovely winter colour and the No7 Polishes are really good quality. No7 is a brand known and loved by many so this would make a fab stocking filler or Secret Santa gift for that beauty lover.

WAH London have a great range of press on nails with some fab designs, my favourite ones are these red ones with the silver glitter. I will be wearing these over the festive season, they do some really lovely designs so theres something for any nail lover this Christmas.

CHRISTMAS GIFT GUIDE: FUN QUIRKY GIFT IDEAS

This years gift guide is jam packed with really cool gift ideas, I thought i'd split up the products into categories. This being the first , fun quirky gifts! I have alot of beauty bits to include so i'll do a separate post for those.

I wanted to include some home bits into this Christmas Gift Guide as we have just moved into our first place together and theres so many things you need to buy. A few of our friends are also in this situation so they have asked for home bits on their Christmas Lists so I thought i'd include some fun quirky gifts that would be perfect. I'm going to start with this 'your my cup of tea' print from Dot Creates I think prints are a great gift idea, these ones from Dot Creates are really affordable.

These mugs from Happy Jackson are so fun, you can get them from Red Candy, they have some really fab gift ideas. They seriously have something for everyone. They have a fab selection of home bits and pieces. I love this Happy Jackson coaster aswell! I also picked out the Umbra Copper photo frame from Red Candy, which is a lovely gift idea and so on trend right now, it is a bargain at only £10.

I also picked out these Joseph Joseph measuring cups from Red Candy as I think these will be so handy when baking, if you have any friends who love to bake these would be a great gift idea, they are really cool and fun.

Another place that has lots of fun quirky gifts is Flamingo Gifts, again they do such a great selection so there really is something for everyone, I picked out these Sass and Belle coasters which are lovely and our friends have commented on them when they have been round, Sass and Belle have some really lovely designs and i'd be tempted to pick up some more to give to my friends for Christmas.

I love this Cactus ipad case, it's abit big for my ipad because I have an ipad mini, its such a cool print and a lovely quality. Woouf, have some really fun prints aswell as the Cacti one, they have a fun Donut one which is ace.

I picked out a few more Happy Jackson goodies, Happy Jackson is one of my favourite brands. I love that alot more places seem to be stocking them making them so easy to get your hands on. I love this notebook which I know my sister will really appreciate as she loves writing down song lyrics and just random thoughts and I also picked out this bag as I find my handbag is always super heavy because I bring a packed lunch to work so now I have this handy foldaway bag. I pop this into my handbag whilst i'm out shopping too, now I can avoid those 5p bag charges.

My Sass and Belle Cat shaped Calk Board is amazing, I've popped it on the kitchen worktop and even though we don't have a cat or a window sill in our kitchen we have both thought there was a cat sitting there haha, it's handy to leave notes for each other or just reminders.

My Final gift idea is this T shirt from Art of Football, they sell really nice prints and tshirts with paintings of iconic football moments painted on the tshirt. You are able to see the emotion and energy thats been captured.  I think these are such a unique gift idea and they are so affordable, the tshirts are £22 and even the prints start a £9.99. I think they are so special and if you are shopping for someone who loves football this would make a really great gift for any football fan.

I have already posted a couple of  Christmas related blog posts such as Christmas with The Body Shop and Christmas Day with George at Asda
