REVIEW : TREVOR SORBIE colour enhance mask*

Trevor Sorbie - £5.99* - www.trevorsorbie.com

I love this hair mask. It has a very natural scent which is a musky floral smell which leaves your hair smelling clean and fresh. The product itself is really thick and easy to apply to the hair. I like to apply a thick layer of product to my hair and leave it for about 10 minutes. The packaging does state to leave for 3 to 5 minutes but I like to leave it on that bit longer for a more intense treatment. I use this product about once a week and I have noticed my colour has lasted longer than usual. This treatment also leaves my hair feeling really thick, healthy and shiny.
I really like this product and think its a good value for money. I've been using mine once a week and it looks hardly used. I don't really like the tub design i'd prefer a tube because I don't like getting the product in my nails but because of the thick consistency I can understand why it's in a pot.

REVIEW: LIZ EARLE SHEER SKIN TINT*

I love Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish it's without a doubt my favourite cleanser. It leaves my skin feeling clean and it doesn't irritate my skin at all. I was so excited when I visited the Liz Earle counter and found out about their Make Up range.

The Sheer skin tint is a foundation which leaves the skin looking natural and dewy. I think it has really good coverage and I really like the formula. It applies easily to the skin, I have applied it with my beauty blender and with a stippling brush, both of which were easy to use.

The Skin Tint has SPF 15 making it good for everyday use. I like to use this on top of a lightweight face cream, which I let dry in properly before applying. I've found the skin tint is a very wet formula but I think this is how they get the dewy look. It does dry it and then I set with a pressed powder for a more matte effect.

I have beige which is the perfect shade for my skin, it does come in 3 other shades and is a decent 40ml tube. I like the simple packaging from Liz Earle. The shiny packaging means the tube stays clean in your make up bag.

I think my skin looks radiant and dewy when I apply this and it lasts very well. My make up looks fresh at the end of a 7 hour shift at Pizza Hut ;) For £21.00 I would rather purchase this product again than a similar product from Benefit or Mac because with Liz Earle I know i'm getting a more natural product that is enriched with Vitamins and natural oils.

REVIEW : SOAP AND GLORY THE FAB PORE*

SOAP AND GLORY THE FAB PORE 2 IN 1 PORE PURIFYING MASK AND PEEL*- £10 here

I've been using this 2 in 1 mask and peel by Soap and Glory for a while now. Its a really thick paste with little beads in that scrub the skin. It's got a very fresh smell to it, it's kind of like a toothpaste smell which I like.

You can use the product either ask a mask so I would apply it to the skin and leave it for 10 - 15 minutes and then wash off. The beads scrub into the skin and clean out the pore's.

You can also use it as a peel so leave on for 10 - 15 minutes and peel off - this is like a face pack and should lift away any dirt from the skin leaving it clean and leaving pores less noticeable.

I've noticed less blackheads on my face and my pores appear reduced. I really like that the product is like a paste rather than a wash or a thinner product. I love the fresh smell of the product and feel clean after i've used this.

I like the simple packaging from Soap And Glory and I think that £10 for 50ml of product is pretty decent. I have been trying a couple more products from the Soap and Glory Skincare range so keep an eye out for those on my blog soon.

You can buy Soap And Glory from their website here or from boots.

REVIEW: French Connection Air Alex Skater Dress

Dress: French Connection* // Cardigan: New look // Necklace: River Island

I've kindly been sent this gorgeous French Connection dress to review on my blog. I decided to go for a little black dress because I don't really have one that I feel comfortable wearing in the day. I think this is a really versatile style and can be worn day or night.

i've decided to team it with a Burgundy cardigan and lipstick and a simple gold chain for an elegant but everyday Autumn look. I would wear this dress on it's own to go out on a night out or for a meal and then pop on a chunky cardigan for that everyday look. I'm excited to pop a jumper over the top of this dress aswell for a more casual look.

It's a shiny stretchy material so it fits me really comfortably. It has little sporty air patches on the sides which were really hard to photograph but you can see clearer on the French Connection website here  which I think make the dress abit more sporty and casual.

I really like this dress, It's £100 but you can wear it in so many different ways that you can justify paying that for a really good quality French Connection dress.

STYLE BIRMINGHAM 2013

A few weeks ago now I was invited along to Style Birmingham Live. It's a fashion event that anyone can buy tickets for. This year it was held at Birmingham Town Hall and was hosted my Emma Willis and Rylan Clarke. There were some fabulous brands involved such as Harvey Nichols and Selfridges. I had a lovely day, It was great watching the catwalk and seeing all the fabulous new A/W 2013 collections and then taking advantage of the exclusive discounts across the city. It's a lovely day out and if your not from Birmingham and planning a shopping trip i'd recommend this as a day out because you get to see the latest trends and where you can buy them from.
