My Benefit Makeover

The other day I had my make up done by the lovely Bailey who works for Benefit ! This is the 2nd time i've met her. This time I had my make up done and I think it looks really good ! I haven't got liquid eye liner on which is why I look a little bit funny but I think I look so dewy and fresh faced. 

Bailey used loads of benefit products including the brand new neutrals palettes and the new concealer 'Fake Up' 

Bailey used loads of products to create this look! I think she made my cheeks look amazing by using bronzer and blush to create contouring which I can't wait to try out myself!

Sunday Update


Daniel Graduated on Friday :) It was such a lovely day 

001. Been at uni this week - Still not feeling my best because i've been really ill recently. My dead lines soon so might be putting blogging on hold for a bit . 

002. This wednesday I'm going to a spa day at the Marriott Hotel with my momma which I'm so excited about - I will be blogging about the day so look out for that 

003. Going to the Harvey Nichols Birmingham Fashion Show aswell so look out for that !! 

004. Got some samples from benefit which i'll be trying out and reviewing this week and also the Urban Decay Basic Naked Palette

March Birchbox


















Birchbox  costs £10 a month (+£2.95 p+p) *

Heres a little look at what I got in this months Birchbox, for those of you know read regularly will know I won a three month subscription so I haven't actually paid for this box. This is my final box. 

Laura Geller – Inkwell Waterproof Gel Liner – Full size price: £24.50 

I'm quite excited to try this out as I haven't used a Gel Liner before. I have seen them but it's something thats never really appealed to me before. I like the Laura Geller brand and hadn't heard of it until recently - They were at the QVC beauty bash and sell products on QVC. They actually sell a Duo for £24.25 if your interested in buying this. I was really impressed that its black aswell because normally you get sent random colours. 

 Molton Brown – Valbonne Fragrance Full size: £65 (50ml)

I'm not a fan of fragrance samples because I don't ever like them and I just don't use them ! This isn't nice - its not something i'd purchase 

RMK – Cleansing Balm Full Size: £29 for 100g

I love cleansing balms so was really excited about this product - abit gutted that its smells like rose but I will definatly be using this and will let you know how I get on - I think the sample is a very decent size too! 

La Sultane De Sabba – Body Lotion with Argan Oil Full Size: 26.50

This smells lush ! It's a nice size and I'm not normally a fan of lotions or bath products in sample boxes because I seem to build up a collection of samples that I just don't use but this smells really nice and I will be using this. 

Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream Full Size: £19.50 2.75oz (around 78g)

I'm excited to try this out ! I haven't used any products from the Yu-Be range. I think this looks good but i'm abit gutted with the tiny sample 

Sanctuary – 30 Day Thermal Transformation Mask Full Size: £27.50

I've tried this before and really liked using it ! I'm really gutted because in the Birchbox you got this or a beauty blender and I would have prefered a beauty blender :( but oh well I suppose thats the thing about beauty boxes 

Lindt – Heart tin filled with Chocolate Truffles Full Size: £2.99 

AHHH ! I've given up chocolate for lent so when I got this I was like NOOO but I haven't eaten them and they will be a lovely treat for when I can eat chocolate again. 


Overall I think this is a good box ! Theres a good range of products and sizes ! I'm gutted that I didn't get the beauty blender. I like this box and I've been happy with the products i've received from birchbox. theres been a few products in each box that i've liked :) 

I think these sample boxes are great to get to know new brands and try products you don't want to fork out for and then not like them! I think they can be abit hit and miss with products. you can always wait for spoliers and then order a box depending on whats in it !

OOTD : Pink Nouveux

Heres what I wore yesterday I just staying in really and visited my nan! I had every intention of going to uni but that didn't happen. I've been a bit lazy with uni recently because I was ill and commuting to Coventry was really getting me down. I've been in this week and i'm going to make sure I get on top of all my work before the easter holidays as my deadline is soon after easter. 

I love this grey marl skater skirt but its actually really difficult to wear because I feel like I have to wear white with it for some reason but I think this looks nice and cute

I got my tripod today and thats why I decided to do this outfit post - I'm hoping I will be doing more now I have my tripod and will be watching some tutorials on how to make the most out of my camera and learning the apiture and stuff.

Bits And Bows













I was spoilt by the Lovely Sarah when I visited Bits and Bows and gave me some lovely bits to feature on blog.

The Marsh mellow ring and the friendship bracelet were in a goody bag that I got from sarah and I was really excited because everyone loves a goody bag!  I think the ring is so cute a unique item! My sister absolutely loves it and will probably end up pinching it off me! I think its just so realistic and its fab
The Friendship bracelet is really nice and obviously alot of hard work has gone into making it! I think the dreamcatcher is lovely and I really like this bracelet - I have a few bracelets like this that I like to wear together to create a boho/ festival chic look :)

The Moustache Ring is something I picked out myself because its amazing ! i love these style rings but i've never been brave enough to buy on. Its a two ring finger and I really couldn't believe how comfortable it was!  I expected it to be really annoying but it wasn't and its also adjustable like nearly all the rings in Sarah's shop.

The pink spike necklace is lovely - recently i've started wearing more pink so this is fab to just pop on with a grey top or black top to add a pop of colour. It's so versatile and easy to wear and just looks lovely. I really love spikes so i'm so happy with this.

And finally my bow! I bought this myself and i'm so impressed for £6 I got myself this amazing, great quality bow! I love it and think it makes me look cute. I think it looks fab in my curly hair : )

BFW; Birmingham Fashion Week

I went along to Birmingham Fashion Week - I was really excited because this was the first fashion event i've been too apart from Birmingham clothes show. It was really fun have a press pass / VIP access and getting to sit and watch the shows from the front row! 

Birmingham International Fashion Week brought together British and international designers to put together a weekend of fashion with half of the proceeds from ticket sales going to Unicef. 

The catwalk shows that I saw included clothing by Sample Clothing who sell vintage clothing here on Asos Marketplace, Hats by Karen Morris Miliner and dresses by Sophia Couture. It was really exciting for me to sit and watch the shows and I really enjoyed the shows and had a great day! It was defiantly a good experience and I would love to go to fashion events again.  

In between the shows I had a look around the stalls, you could buy clothing, taste chocolate or just have a chat and do some networking. I had a good look around and then went to sit in the press area where I met the lovely Paulina , she has a lovely blog so check that out.

I have to say the day was really good and I would love to go to an event where the fashion was more high street, and maybe things i'd wear. The people who were working at the event were lovely and very helpful and I think events like this are good because we have the Bullring and Selfridges and the Mailbox and yet Birmingham is lacking in Fashion Events! 

The gaps between shows seemed to drag because after looking at the stalls a couple of times there wasn't really anything to do. I watched the performance from Times Red which was fab ! And then left because of the HUGE gap between 2-4 which was a break but there was really nothing to do and my shoes were hurting. 

I really hope Birmingham fashion week brings more fashion events to Birmingham because a lot of these events take place in London and It's time they came to Brum!
