My Spending Ban

Here's my Topshop Wishlist for this week :( I feel that I am spending WAYYY TOO much money so I am on a spending ban! I was really good on saturday and only bought a shirt! I wasn't really looking because I was trying to be good but I spotted a shirt that I've looked at loads and they didn't have my size previously but it was in the sale & they had my size :)

I know its going to be really difficult for me to spend NO MONEY but i'm going to try my best!
I do have a couple of exceptions.

*I'm going to the QVC beauty bash today so I might buy something there woops
*If I make tips at work then I'm aloud to spend them!
*I will still be spending money on food, only healthy food for my packed lunch for uni.
*I will still be going to the cinema and because me and dan go the cinema most wednesdays (we use orange wednesdays) and this is our little treat for the week.

I've won a 3 month subscription to birchbox and i've got lots of goodies from my goodie bag from the birmingham meet up so I have lots of bits and pieces to review :)
I'm not going to give myself a date but I do want to succeed my spending ban for about a month at least!

Wish Me Luck :)

The Birmingham Blogger Meet Up

Firstly we Met up at Starbucks and got split up into groups to make shopping in Birmingham abit easier. I was in Clares' group :) Our group were all lovely and it was good for me because I shop in Birmingham all the time but there was others who had never been before :)

 Me and Zoe

Rodizio Rico, The Cube, Birmingham.

We went for our complimentary cocktail at Rodizio Rico which was very strong but defiantly livened everyone up a little bit ;) especially Gemma. The waiters were lovely and very funny especially Jai and they made 25 cocktails super fast!! We all had a really lovely time and I will definitely be going there again!

Our Free Cocktail

After our cocktails we went to the Red Peppers for food. It was lovely and the staff were so lovely and accommodating to us all. During the day I went to meet Gemma, Sara and Clare and the staff were lovely  The girls were sorting out the goody bags in the restaurant and we were abit in the way of them walking past with customers and food but they really didn't mind and it was just so lovely. The food was great! I had Chicken and ribs which was huge ! There was loads on the menu to choose from and everyone elses food looked great ! Especially Clare's Sesamae Salmon which looked yummy! The cocktails looked nice aswell :) Its good value for money as the mains vary between £7-£15 and they are  very big portions.

What we got in our goody bags thanks to Gemma, Sara and Clare and

Macadamia Hair, Jamela 24k Gold Collagen Skincare, Herbalife, Neal and Wolf, DHC, Premae, Benefit, Paul Mitchell, Revitalash, Rimmel, Elemis.

Overall It was a lovely day thank you again to Gemma, Clare and Sara. It was a great opportunity and I met loads of lovely bloggers that I can't wait to see again. If anyone from Birmingham ever wants to get together or anything just let me know :)

Sunday Update

Thought i'd add some pictures of the snow; these are from the other day and it's actually must worse today. Today i've just been lounging around, i've just taken some photos of my goodie bag from the #birminghambloggermeetup that took place yesterday and will be posting about that tomorrow!

Yesterday was really good and I met some amazing bloggers, thanks to Gemma, Clare and Sara :)
I'll go into some more detail tomorrow :)

I need to get some uni work done this week but with the snow, commuting to Coventry isn't ideal !

My Moo.com purchase

Just under £17 with my student discount and p&p

I'm so happy that these arrived on tuesday as I'm off to the #brumbloggersmeetup on Saturday and this will be an amazing opportunity to give some out and get some new followers also next week i'm off to London to the QVC beauty bash and I know a few bloggers are going so again might get to hand some out. I've found myself talking about my blog in department stores and to people at work and uni and I think these cards will make my blog more professional and easily accessable. I also bought my domain name so its now www.amypyt.com which is easier to remember and find.

I'm really happy my with moo.com purchase and I'm going to be needing some business cards for my uni work and art practice soon so I think ill be using moo.com again.

The process, printing and sending was really speedy! I wasn't expecting these for another week as thats when my delivery estimation was so I was ecstatic to see these when I walked in on tuesday evening :)

Have you used moo.com or any other printing companies or do you think you might use moo.com if so contact me and I might be able to get you a sneaky 10% off ;)

REVIEW: Benefit They're Real ! Mascara

benefit : they're real // rrp £18.50 *

I've been using they're real for a couple of months now and I am still really undecided about it. I love the length that it adds my lashes - I really think how much length that it adds is amazing and it's the only mascara that i've ever used that has been able to lengthen my lashes with such an amazing result however the lashes are really thin and the mascara doesn't add hardly any volume. I use another mascara on top either YSL shocking or Soap and Glory Thick and Fast. I also find that the lashes look abit 'scraggy' because its actually using the mascara to build up that extra length. I've used this mascara like I say for a couple of months and I think it still makes the lashes look scraggy and I have to fix them by using another mascara and this is rather annoying because I've spent £18.50 and then have to use another mascara on top. It could just be down to the person applying the mascara and maybe I haven't mastered it yet however I really do like this mascara because I love the length it adds. I don't use false lashes so this is ideal but I don't think ill buy this mascara again.

Have you tried any mascara's that add length to your lashes that you think could compete with Benefit they're real! ?

*I bought this with my boots advantage card points.

My sunday shopping haul

laura mercier primer (oil free) - space NK// Polka dot shirt - cameo rose @ newlook // Kelly Brook nail polishes and eye brush set @ new look// studded ballet pumps - Topshop sale

Dan went to Edinburgh for the weekend so I didn't really have much to do over the weekend. I've been reading loadss! lol So on Sunday instead of sitting in the house all day I thought id go into Solihull and do a spot of shopping. I went because theres a dress on the Topshop website that I wanted to look at (but they didn't have it in store !!!) and because I wanted to pick up the Laura Mercier Primer. I was going to buy the radience primer but the lady said because I have combination skin that the oil free one would be better! She gave me some samples of REN skincare - I can't wait to try them out !!
The shirt was £12.99 so with student discount about £11 and the nail polishes were both reduced to £1. I've been using eyebrow kits and have been on the lookout for some brushes. I liked this brush and I thought I could use the bigger end to apply the powder to my eyebrows after my wax :) and they were £3.99
I've looked at these shoes so many times in Topshop! they were originally £28 which I couldn't justify as they are just ballet pumps and probably wont last that long and then they were reduced to £15 but I still didn't buy them but on sunday they were £10 so £9 with student discount ... bargain !

I think I did really well this weekend and got some nice stuff. I keep buying black things but oh well!
